Rocky Mountain Urgent Care Named a “2009 Colorado Company to Watch”

Rocky Mountain Urgent Care has been named one of fifty “2009 Colorado Companies to Watch”.  Companies to Watch, is a national program founded by the Edward Lowe Foundation, and is different from many existing awards programs. Because the program focuses on an entire state and is not industry-specific, it provides an opportunity to paint a realistic picture of a true statewide economy. Since applicants are evaluated on more than growth, it widens the playing field to companies not often recognized for the critical differences they make in their industry, their community, region and our state.

In addition to being evaluated on past growth and projected success, applicants are also judged according to their special strengths. These special strengths revolve around a company's innovative products and business practices, special use of technology, work within their community and more.  Colorado Companies to Watch also weighs the value of creating good quality jobs, diverse industries, and statewide representation.

The 2009 Colorado Companies to Watch will be recognized in the June Edition of ColoradoBIZ Magazine, at a gala awards celebration on June 25, 2009 at the Grand Seawell Ballroom of the Denver Center for Performing Arts, and each company will be named “This Week’s Colorado Company to Watch” during one week of the next year. Media partnerships such as with 9News in the Denver-metro area will highlight awardees throughout the year.
